Jane has over 20 years of experience in planning tours and logistics; international conferences; conventions and protocol for some of the country’s highest profile events and visits. She has worked in the offices of Senators, MPs and Party Leaders as well as Protocol for the Parliament of Canada. She followed that with 3 years of experience running major accounts for public affairs advertising clients.
In January of 2017, Jane launched Jane & Co. – a unique consultancy designed to offer effortless event support and project management in the national public affairs market, from creative strategic advice to seamless execution.
Sydney has worked for a decade in hospitality and client service in Canada and abroad. She brings calm expertise and expert logistical support to project management files - most recently as the coordinator for Cinefest International Film Festival. Experienced in video post production, editing, script writing and producer support, Sydney’s creative prowess brings a fresh perspective to client engagement.
Native to Ottawa, Sydney grew up in the theatre. She credits over 11 years of acting experience with the development of specialized skills in communications and client management. Today she is an active board member of Harmony House, a local women’s shelter.
Sam brings a wealth of experience to guest engagement and managing diverse teams. Her quick wit and ability to troubleshoot in high stakes environments proves vital during executions of events large and small. Joining the Jane & Co team from Spartan Races, we rely on Sam’s registration and volunteer management expertise.
Coupled with extensive hospitality experience, she brings a unique outlook to customer and supplier relationships. Sam returned to her hometown of Ottawa in 2022 after completing a Bachelors in Communications from Wilfred Laurier University (’21) where she is active in fitness community and volunteers with Dyslexia Canada and LeaninOttawa.
